Job Description
Perform mechanical assembly and fabrication activities supporting aerospace structures, including tube installation, structural drilling, and precision mechanical assembly. Execute build operations on pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, and structural components using engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
- $37.02 - $51.83 Hourly
- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and typically 1+ years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on experience using a micrometer, calipers, and gauges to measure tolerances
- Ability to perform mechanical (tub installations), structural drilling, and assembly
- Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components, including pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems
- Apply torque specifications and mechanical clearances during assembly operations
- Install tubing, valves, and fittings in aerospace mechanical systems
- Perform structural assembly tasks, including match drilling of aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
- Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, maintenance manuals, and
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Experience working on a NASA program or similar aerospace environment
- Clean room manufacturing experience
- Manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware environments
- Experience with tubing and ducting installation and hydraulic system assembly
- Job Duties & Functions
- Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components for aerospace structures and systems
- Install tubing, valves, and hydraulic components in accordance with engineering specifications
- Perform structural drilling and match drilling operations on aerospace materials
- Measure and verify tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to support fabrication activities
- Assemble pumps, valves, and related mechanical systems used in aerospace applications
- Ensure compliance with torque and mechanical clearance requirements during assembly operations
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight structural areas
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during assembly operations
- Must be able to lift up to 10+ lbs as required
- 100% onsite at Kennedy Space Center, FL
- Must be able to work all shifts
