Job Description
Develop and maintain manufacturing plans supporting fabrication operations for aircraft production. Create manufacturing documentation, improve production processes, and coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Resolve manufacturing issues while ensuring production requirements and regulatory standards are achieved.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in a related discipline with typically 6+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience with manufacturing processes, systems, and test commodities, and Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES) or an equivalent system
- 5+ years of experience reading, interpreting, and applying engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Ability to provide shipside support while resolving manufacturing and production issues
- Develop manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations defining as-built configurations
- Support supplier integration, manufacturing processes, materials, data, and technology to achieve production and delivery requirements
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of experience with aerospace systems and test fabrication and/or installation
- Ability to satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations
- Create manufacturing concepts and strategies supporting business objectives
- Integrate suppliers, manufacturing processes, materials, data, and technology to meet production requirements
- Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are satisfied
- Develop tooling requirements based on engineering and manufacturing needs
- Manage tooling from initial design through end-of-use disposition
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues
- Perform producibility assessments for part and product designs
- Provide producibility recommendations supporting design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies
- Develop integrated work statements and event sequencing to meet delivery commitments
- Draft, update, and review manufacturing processes and procedures supporting business and regulatory requirements
