- Role Summary
- This position supports heavy maintenance operations on regional jet aircraft, performing inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and installations in accordance with regulatory and safety standards. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and flexibility to work extended shifts in an MRO environment.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Aircraft Technician.
- MRO experience.
- Military aircraft maintenance experience, including Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections, if formerly in the military. OR
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Aircraft Technician.
- CRJ airframe experience or Challenger airframe experience.
- MRO experience.
- An FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or an FAA Airframe license.
- A personal set of tools.
- The ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- Perform heavy maintenance, including C-checks, on various regional jet airframes.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect and repair aircraft in accordance with FAA or other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting, installations, removals, and inspections on aircraft systems and components.
- Complete tasks within allotted time frames while meeting regulatory and company standards.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
