Job Description
Support heavy maintenance operations on regional jet aircraft by performing inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and installations in accordance with regulatory and safety standards. Utilize mechanical and electrical skills to maintain aircraft systems, interpret technical documentation, and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely. Work extended shifts in an MRO environment while ensuring compliance with all FAA and company requirements. Collaborate with team members to support safe, high-quality aircraft maintenance operations.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Aircraft Technician, including MRO experience.
- Military aircraft maintenance experience, including Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections, if formerly in the military.
- OR a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Aircraft Technician.
- CRJ airframe experience or Challenger airframe experience.
- MRO experience.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or FAA Airframe license.
- A personal set of tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform heavy maintenance, including C-checks, on various regional jet airframes.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect and repair aircraft in accordance with FAA or other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Consult maintenance blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting, installations, removals, and inspections on aircraft systems and components.
- Complete tasks within allotted time frames while meeting regulatory and company standards.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to work in a hangar environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing as required.
- Ability to lift and move aircraft components and equipment.
- Ability to work extended shifts and in varying schedules, including nights and weekends.
