Job Description
Perform composite repairs on parts and components using wet layup, prepreg, and various bonding methods. Support repairs requiring clean room processing and curing through autoclaves, controlled ovens, or Hot-Bonder equipment while following established procedures.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years of recent hands-on work-related experience
- Part 145 Repair Station experience
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Use close tolerance measuring tools, including scales, micrometers, calipers, and depth gages
- Operate hand tools, including drill motors, die grinders, rivet guns, and fastener installation tools
- Perform alignment and assembly using jigs, templates, and fixtures
- Properly bag a wide range of component shapes and styles
- Utilize a Hot-Bonder-type machine cure procedure
- Safely operate curing ovens, autoclaves, and vacuum equipment
- Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases using basic computer skills
- Attend work every day as scheduled, with opportunities to work overtime as workflow permits
- Notify the supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work
- Maintain reliable transportation to get to work each day
- Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
- Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties
- Preferred Skills
- Valid A&P License
- Valid driver's license approved for airline travel
- Valid passport
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform composite repairs on parts and components using wet layup and prepreg
- Facilitate repairs using a clean room when required
- Cure composite repairs using an autoclave or controlled oven
- Utilize co-curing, co-bonding, secondary bonding, and metal bonding methods with liquid and film adhesives
- Measure components using close tolerance tools such as scales, micrometers, calipers, and depth gages
- Operate hand tools including drill motors, die grinders, rivet guns, and fastener installation tools
- Complete alignment and assembly using jigs, templates, and fixtures
- Apply required PPE when cutting, grinding, blending, and sanding
- Prepare extensive bagging materials for composite repair
- Bag a wide range of component shapes and styles
- Execute a Hot-Bonder type machine cure procedure
- Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required
- Safely operate curing ovens, autoclaves, and vacuum equipment
- Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases using basic computer skills
- Communicate effectively and clearly by speaking, writing, and reading in English
- Work under the supervision of the assigned Team Leader
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

- Complete routine or repetitive physical motions with arms and hands
- Climb ladders and stairs
- Work in small, restricted areas
- Stand for long periods of time
- Operate in controlled environments in industrial warehouses
