Job Description

TeamGlobal is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Technician for an exciting opportunity in Bridgeport, WV. This position supports aircraft maintenance and modification operations, focusing on structural sheet metal repairs, fabrication, and modifications across corporate, commercial, and regional aircraft.

• What We Are Looking For
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• 3+ years of structural sheet metal repair and modification experience or sustained similar experience
• Must have MRO or Sheet Metal Back-shop experience
• Corporate jet, commercial aircraft, or CRJ airframe experience
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or FAA Airframe License preferred
• Military aircraft maintenance experience, including Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections, if formerly in the military
• Personal set of tools required
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing, to document aircraft maintenance actions
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  
  

• What You Will Do
• Inspect aircraft structures to identify and document damage, wear, and repair requirements
• Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on structural components, including wing, fuselage, and tail sections
• Fabricate and modify aircraft structural components and parts
• Complete minor structural repairs on attached or detached composite components
• Assist with complex structural repairs on and off aircraft
• Perform mechanical and electrical component removals and installations as required
• Interpret and follow aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Use precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure accurate repairs and compliance with aviation requirements
• Inspect confined areas of the airframe and follow applicable environmental, health, and safety procedures
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to aircraft structural maintenance
