Job Description
Support the design, analysis, integration, and testing of electronic and electrical systems for current and emerging aerospace and defense programs. Develop system requirements, architectures, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications while ensuring compliance with customer and contract requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to validate system performance, resolve integration issues, and support new technology development.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrate 5–9 years of relevant engineering experience
- Currently reside in or be willing to relocate at personal expense to the St. Louis, Missouri region
- Apply aerospace engineering knowledge
- Develop electronic and electrical system requirements
- Support electronic and electrical system design and testing activities
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills within a team environment
- Design/build or test team experience
- Hands-on experience creating, developing, and maintaining engineering processes
- Experience with electronic or electrical system design or testing based on requirements
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and system architecture
- Job Duties & Functions
- Understand and apply engineering practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts
- Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer and contract requirements
- Develop statements of work and technical performance specifications
- Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architectures, hardware designs, software designs, and interface specifications while maintaining traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are achieved
- Resolve product integration issues and production anomalies
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts supporting future product designs and company business needs
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with engineering requirements
- Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements
- Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
- Solve hardware and software issues throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Successfully complete required on-the-job or formal classroom training as a condition of assignment
