Job Description

Plan, develop, integrate, verify, and validate system solutions using a collaborative systems engineering approach throughout the product lifecycle. Analyze system requirements, evaluate technical performance, and resolve cross-functional engineering issues while supporting mission success. Coordinate systems engineering processes that improve technical performance, risk management, and program execution.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of engineering experience, or a PhD with engineering experience
• Intermediate experience with Systems Engineering
• Plan, design, develop, and verify system-of-systems solutions
• Evaluate customer and operational requirements
• Coordinate system performance requirements and technical parameters
• Integrate physical, functional, and program interfaces
• Perform system architecture analyses
• Develop requirements management, risk management, issue management, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues
• Successful completion of required on-the-job or classroom training
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting military customers
• Experience with military aircraft
• Experience with fighter aircraft

• Job Duties & Functions
• Apply systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system requirements
• Coordinate technical parameters across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Analyze system architecture to optimize performance
• Assess affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, and product assurance
• Develop and monitor requirements management processes
• Manage technical risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness assessments
• Resolve cross-functional engineering issues
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities
