Data Analyst

Job Description

Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision-making, and gain competitive advantage in an engineering setting. Conducts statistical analysis, manages end-to-end data processing, maintains analytical systems, verifies data accuracy, and collaborates with business stakeholders, technical developers, and data scientists to define business outcomes and govern capabilities. Supports leadership reporting, project progress monitoring, supplier task completion, system access, security-level tracking, and development of AI bots that enable teams to identify and find trends quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years of experience or Master’s degree with 4 - 6 years of experience.
• Production-level scripting with Python 3.10+, including deterministic pipelines, ETL, linking logic, and data validation.
• Proficiency with AWS core services, including S3, Lambda, and boto3.
• Demonstrated experience with data cleaning and data integration, including turning unstructured documents into clean data.
• Experience designing keys and joins across datasets for data modeling and entity linking.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with document processing.
• Proficiency with dashboarding and Tableau.
• Working knowledge of Databricks.
• Experience developing APIs, such as FastAPI, with basic frontend-backend integration.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals.

• Preferred Skills
• Frontend experience with technologies such as React.
• Demonstrated experience with API integration.
• Knowledge of creating stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Tableau Prep or Alteryx.
• Experience with SSO and authentication integration.
• Knowledge of supply chain management systems and the sourcing process.

• Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to support correct predictive forecasting or classification.
• Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report-building functions of systems.
• Maintains analytical systems and verifies the accuracy of data.
• Acts as liaison with business stakeholders.
• Collaborates with technical developers and data scientists to define business outcomes and govern capabilities.
• Assists with status reports for leadership reviews.
• Supports development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention and problem solving with the project manager, suppliers, and internal customer.
• Manages and tracks supplier task completion.
• Provides system access based on training completion.
• Supports team efforts to ensure security levels are completed and accurate.
• Develops AI bots for deployment and efficiency gains in the team's ability to identify and find trends quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborates cross-functionally, builds consensus, shapes and influences opinions, and articulates the future state.
