Job Description
Perform fabrication, assembly, setup, and testing for Air Dominance, PW, and Weapons platforms, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems. Support planning, conducting, and documenting tests on systems, components, and materials, as well as designing and assembling test fixtures and systems. Coordinate test requirements, facilitate systems integration, and perform pre-test setup, checkout, and post-test teardown. Conduct routine tests, analyze data, document results, and troubleshoot basic laboratory and test-related issues under general supervision.

- Education & Job Requirements
- AA degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Active Secret Clearance required to start
- Candidate must be able to obtain Special Access post start
- Electrical fabrication experience, including soldering, crimping, pinning, ringout, routing, etc.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Preferred Skills
- Air Vehicle electrical manufacturing, modifications, or maintenance
- Strain Gage installation experience
- Job Duties & Functions
- Fabricate, assemble, and set up components, test fixtures, and test systems
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems
- Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Design systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies to meet customer requirements
- Participate in test design and coordinate test requirements
- Review test methods and capabilities
- Facilitate systems integration, fabrication, and modification
- Support pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down
- Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results
- Troubleshoot and recommend resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Standing, kneeling, leaning over, or lying down for prolonged periods of time
- Working from heights, on ladders, stands, or wearing a fall protection harness
- Ability to handle tools and small parts
- Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training
