The engineer works across cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful system integration and validation. - Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- A minimum of 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in Systems Engineering, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Job Duties & Functions
- Lead cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria.
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure compatibility across interfaces.
- Develop, manage, and validate system requirements, including technical specifications and supplier requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and technical assessments, providing guidance and recommendations to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Support, maintain, and improve requirements management processes, tools, risk management, issue resolution, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments.
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues and contribute to optimization of system architecture and design.
