Applies an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify complex system solutions while ensuring compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces. This role performs analyses to optimize system architecture, supports requirements management processes, and addresses quality, reliability, and performance factors. The engineer works across cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure successful system integration and validation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to support system development and program objectives.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• A minimum of 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in Systems Engineering, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Job Duties & Functions
• Lead cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria.
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure compatibility across interfaces.
• Develop, manage, and validate system requirements, including technical specifications and supplier requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and technical assessments, providing guidance and recommendations to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Support, maintain, and improve requirements management processes, tools, risk management, issue resolution, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessments.
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues and contribute to optimization of system architecture and design.
