Develops, modifies, and documents electronic and electrical system designs while performing system tests to verify operational and functional requirements. This role supports fabrication technicians, suppliers, and hands-on troubleshooting of test racks, while performing acceptance test procedures and maintaining scripts using C and C++ to demonstrate design conformance. The engineer researches technologies for potential applications, resolves product integration issues, and addresses production anomalies. Strong problem-solving, laboratory test equipment proficiency, and programming skills in C, C++, and Python are essential, with a focus on supporting design, analysis, and production processes.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with laboratory test equipment, including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong foundation in C, C++, and Python.
- Siemens Capital experience.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Assist with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Develop or modify basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
- Perform system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
- Support fabrication technicians and suppliers’ questions during the build and fabrication process.
- Support resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.
- Support hands-on troubleshooting of test racks.
- Perform acceptance test procedures to demonstrate conformance to design and document results.
- Develop and maintain scripts used to run test functions using C and C++.
- Research basic technologies for potential application to the company's business needs.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Full-time, on-site work in Berkeley, MO.
- Shift: First (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Potential for infrequent domestic and international travel.
