    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will maintain the proper and safe functioning of customer aircraft by inspecting aircraft and components; performing required repairs, modifications, and maintenance; ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and Part 145 standards; overseeing daily hangar and shop operations; assigning and sequencing maintenance tasks; monitoring workflow and productivity; maintaining documentation and repair logs; supporting administrative and staffing functions; and ensuring operational goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
    • Inspection Authorization (IA).
    • A minimum of 5 or more years of experience performing hands-on heavy maintenance on business jets or turbine aircraft, with Falcon aircraft experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience working in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station environment.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
    • Must pass a DOT-required pre-employment drug screen and participate in DOT-mandated random drug and alcohol testing.

    • Preferred Skills

    • A minimum of 1 year of experience in jet avionics outside of educational experience.
    • Familiarity with Dassault Falcon aircraft models, including Falcon 50, Falcon 900, Falcon 2000, Falcon 7X, and Falcon 8X.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Perform all work activities in accordance with FAA regulations, safety standards, protocols, and procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and aircraft.
    • Inspect aircraft and aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, tires, and structural elements, for damage, defects, corrosion, or wear to ensure airworthiness.
    • Recommend replacement, repair, or modification of aircraft equipment based on inspection findings.
    • Report issues, malfunctions, unusual wear, or damage to appropriate personnel, as required.
    • Install, remove, or modify aircraft structures, systems, or components in accordance with drawings, schematics, engineering orders, charts, and technical publications.
    • Repair worn, defective, or damaged parts or components, including gaskets, lines and couplings, cables, and pulleys, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
    • Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance adheres to required standards and procedures and that aircraft are ready for operation.
    • Interpret discrepancies or maintenance logs, written or verbal, to determine the history and nature of issues and identify required corrective actions, including repair, deferral, or replacement.
    • Research, read, and interpret technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, installations, repairs, and related work activities.
    • Review maintenance records to confirm that service checks, repairs, and overhauls were completed at prescribed intervals.
    • Maintain accurate repair logs documenting preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
    • Use computer systems and technology to document, access, receive, and communicate maintenance information.
    • Oversee all day-to-day hangar and shop activities.
    • Assign, sequence, and staff maintenance tasks appropriately.
    • Monitor workflow, productivity, and adherence to schedules.
    • Coordinate shift coverage, overtime requirements, and manpower balancing.
    • Ensure proper housekeeping, tool control, and foreign object debris (FOD) prevention practices.
    • Track labor hours, attendance, and productivity metrics.
    • Assist with performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as required.
    • Ensure training and authorization requirements remain current.
    • Support cost control initiatives and the efficient use of resources.
    • Stop work when safety or regulatory compliance is at risk.
    • Maintain an organized, compliant, and efficient shop environment.
    • Meet operational goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment:
    • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders as required.
    • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
    • Comfortable working in a hangar environment with noise, temperature changes, and exposure to aircraft fluids.
