Leads multi-disciplined engineering teams in the proposal, design, development, and delivery of next-generation products within development programs. This role serves as a key interface between engineering and program management, ensuring technical performance, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved. The engineer manages technical risks, establishes program requirements, and ensures adherence to engineering processes while supporting product lifecycle and system development. Strong leadership, decision-making, and technical expertise are essential to guide teams and deliver complex engineering solutions.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • 4+ years of experience developing, proposing, managing, and implementing testing of products and system solutions in power systems or related.
    • 4+ years of experience in temperature, humidity, shock, and vibration testing and certification.
    • 1+ year of experience in leadership and direct participation in technical proposal development, cost estimation, and manpower planning.
    • Previous DoD engineering development experience.
    • Experience with requirements analysis and definition.
    • Naval power or power conversion systems
    • Military production products with complex electro-mechanical assemblies
    • Production product lifecycle management
    • EVM/CAM experience.
    • 2+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
    • 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
    • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    • Serve as the key interface between engineering and program management teams.
    • Ensure technical performance, cost, and schedule goals are met.
    • Act as an advisor to senior management and customers on advanced technical studies and applications.
    • Identify and manage program technical risks.
    • Establish schedule, resource, budget, and tool requirements for engineering tasks.
    • Ensure engineering processes are followed on projects.
    • Lead multi-disciplined engineering teams through proposal, design, development, and delivery phases.
