A Corporate Aircraft Director of Maintenance (DOM) is a senior leadership role responsible for the airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of a company's private fleet.Unlike a standard mechanic, this position focuses on strategic management, budgeting, and long-term fleet reliability.

- Up to $38.50/hour
- Education & Job Requirements
- Certification: A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is mandatory (Inspection Authorization (IA) is Preferred)
- Preferred Experience: 3–5 years in a Supervisory or Management role in a Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Environment
- Deep knowledge of specific airframes (e.g. Cessna Citation Jets) and turbine engine operations
- Strong communication for liaising with Aircraft Owners, Pilots, and Regulatory Authorities
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work in varying environments, including hangars and flight ramps

- Job Duties & Functions
- Manage all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to ensure constant aircraft readiness
- Act as the primary point of authority for FAA (Part 91 or Part 135) compliance, maintaining accurate records, logbooks, and digital tracking systems
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, including part procurement, vendor contract negotiations, and cost-control strategies
- Supervise in-house Technicians and coordinate with external Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
- Implement and enforce Safety Management Systems (SMS), perform incident investigations, and ensure a clean, organized hangar environment
