Job Description
Supports production planning and execution for aircraft structures by developing, updating, and maintaining installation plans and work instructions. This role coordinates with manufacturing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate bill of materials, tooling requirements, and process documentation. The planner investigates and resolves manufacturing issues, reviews supplier data, and supports production rate increases and certification efforts. Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications are essential to ensure efficient and compliant production processes.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Associate’s degree) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of related work experience, 5 years of related work experience, etc.).
- 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing production environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems, including Product Data Manager (PDM), Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP), Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS), and Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP-LN).
- Job Duties & Functions
- Update and revise installation plans in Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPPII).
- Update and revise installation plans in Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES).
- Coordinate and integrate with manufacturing engineering teams, manufacturing, and engineering.
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues.
- Ensure the quality of work instructions, bill of materials, and illustrations used by manufacturing.
- Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
- Provide tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering needs.
- Create and revise Out-Of-Sequence Installation Plans (OSIPs) supporting engineering and planning releases.
