    • Duties and Responsibilities
    • Essential Functions:
    • Must be an FAA certified Aircraft A&P Mechanic (FAA Certificate Required). Having an FAA IA Inspection Authorization is preferred, and maintaining an FAA FCC Certification is preferred.
    • Safely perform aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions and inspections Following applicable technical data in the performance of all aircraft and component maintenance under minimal supervision per the aircraft manufacturer’s specific maintenance program or AAIP.
    • Coordinate with management, assigned supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, signoffs and quality specifications using the Corridor maintenance program. Ensure that all inspections are properly performed, and that the proper inspection records, reports and forms used by the Repair Station are properly executed prior to releasing the product for return to service.
    • Follow standard operating procedures assigned from management and as directed by the aircraft manufacturers maintenance manual specifications when using aircraft maintenance tools and equipment such as electrical, hydraulic power and Aircraft Pressurization carts, Aircraft Jacks, calibrated tools, etc. Properly care for and maintain all required maintenance and facility equipment and tools.
    • Read and understand the Repair Station/Quality Control Manual PPJR496E and any referenced Forms, Manuals, or supplements referenced within listed document.
    • Keep current with the latest revisions of all technical data within one’s area of expertise on all articles repaired by the Repair Station. This data will include manufacturers’ overhaul manuals, service bulletins, part specifications, related FAA approved data and other required technical data used by the Repair Station
    • Ensuring the proper handling and preservation of all units/parts while in the work process, installation, and storage. Ensure the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in CFR PPJR496E.
    • Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component or aircraft released by the Repair Station.
    • Periodically review, record, and document On-the-job Training on form PAT-DAY-0003 as required. Provide documentation to the quality assurance department of all OJT & formal training to be incorporated into repair station personnel files. Maintaining currency requirements for all special authorizations as required by repair station duties.
    • Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies. Use personal protective equipment and ensure the aircraft exterior and interior is properly protected (PTP). Perform other duties as assigned by management.
    • Other Requirements for the position:
    • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the American English language fluently to meet FAA Regulations.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.
    • Ability to use standard aircraft mechanics tools, equipment, and materials in the aircraft maintenance process. Able to climb ladders and stairs, perform close tolerance work, work in small spaces, lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to work at heights to include from a 20’ ladder or aerial lift.
    • Must be computer literate. Knowledge of Corridor Maintenance Program, MS Office programs, especially Outlook, is a plus.
    • Must be capable and have experience leading and training junior Mechanics on multiple smaller aircraft projects at the discretion of manager in support of the Maintenance Lead/Supervisor for aircraft AOG Drop-in, small Inspection projects, independent aircraft Troubleshooting and all major repairs, inspections for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a minimum of 5 corporate aircraft makes/models identified in Premier's FAA 145 Repair Station Operational Specifications.
    • Must have previous experience and be willing to train in support to perform aircraft run & taxi operations at the Dayton International airport for the Premier maintenance department operations.·Must have previous experience and be capable of performing as a QC level 2 collateral duty Safe-For-Flight inspector.
    • In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed above:
    • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and be assigned to a FAA mandated drug screening program.
    • Must be an FAA licensed A&P Mechanic with over 10 years’ experience.
    • Must be capable and willing to train, operate and perform aircraft runs and taxi operations at the Dayton International Airport.
    • Must acquire, support, and maintain a QC level 2 collateral duty Safe-For-Flight inspector.
    • Must be able to train and direct junior mechanics on multiple aircraft projects.
    • Must be Team oriented, self-driven and safety conscious demonstrating a Positive behavior and attitude. Must be Goal-oriented and driven to meet and/or exceed quality maintenance actions and expectations. Must have Problem-solving skills that make results.
