Job Description

Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements while supporting hardware and software design, integration, and validation activities. Analyze system performance throughout the product lifecycle by performing testing, troubleshooting, and configuration management in support of operational and functional requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to research emerging technologies and ensure compliance with program requirements.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited course of study, and typically 2+ years of experience in an engineering classification
    • Working knowledge of configuration management
    • Experience performing hardware-in-the-loop testing
    • Familiarity with MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data buses
    • Experience conducting hardware audits or supporting audit processes
    • Willingness to support second shift, as needed
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Develop moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
    • Document hardware, software, and interface specifications.
    • Design electronic system solutions that satisfy operational and functional requirements.
    • Test hardware and software to validate system performance.
    • Verify system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
    • Assist with monitoring supplier performance to support system integration and compliance.
    • Resolve hardware and software issues throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Research emerging technologies for potential application to business needs.
    • Support configuration management activities.
    • Participate in hardware auditing and audit processes.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
    • Support a full-time first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
    • Work a 9x80 schedule.
    • Provide occasional second shift support from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, as required.
    • Work overtime on a case-by-case basis.
