- OVERVIEW:Our Client operates a fleet of King Airs form model 90 to 350 from its 10,500 square foot temperature-controlled hangars in Brandon, Mississippi. They also provide outside maintenance to King Airs.
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, developing and maintaining the maintenance forecasting and budgeting system, and parts procurement.
- Create logbook entries, associated 337’s when applicable, and other FAA/logbook forms for all maintenance performed.
- Coordinate and align scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities into the daily schedule.
- Ensure technicians are following prescribed procedures in accordance with technical manuals, and operating procedures.
- Maintain a general knowledge of all work and inspections being performed.
- Assign technicians to tasks that most effectively utilize their skill levels.
- Perform hands-on maintenance.
- Review all records of work performed and maintain permanent records.
- Maintain currency of service manuals, instructions, bulletins, airworthiness directives, and aircraft specifications.
- Knowledge and experience in all levels of maintenance, sheet metal, fabric work, paint, and engine overhaul.
- Maintain overall clean, organized, and professional maintenance facility and personnel.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate
- FAA Inspection Authorization or willing to get certified.
- Management experience as a DOM or Asst. DOM or Shop Manager.
- High accuracy in documentation and attention to detail.
- Prior experience with King Air aircraft, sheet metal, welding, paint, and engine overhaul preferred.
