    • Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
    • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups, prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process, completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, sub-assemblies, structural flaws and internal defects
    • Accepts, rejects, or supports rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems
    • Works from blueprints, diagrams, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists
    • Complete first article documentation in accordance with AS9102 requirements
    • Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with assemblers, test technicians, engineers, customers and management when resolving quality issues
    • Perform assembly tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed
    • Education and Experience Requirements:
    • Must be a US Citizen with a clear background.
    • Minimum 2 Years Experience with the following: (1) IPC-A-610; (2) IPC-J-STD; (3) IPC-WHMA-A-620; (4) Visual Inspection
    • Required Skills:
    • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and computer system navigation is required.
    • IPC610/J-STD, IPC620 experience and strong knowledge is required
    • Proficient with Personal Computers
    • Experience with soldered and crimp inspection on cables using IPC-A-620 standards
    • Detail-oriented and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals, revision control, reference documents and work instructions
    • Strong background in the manufacturing FAI process of cables and subassemblies
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Desired Skills
    • Quality certifications such as ASQ, CMI or CQT is a plus
