- Role Summary
- In this role, you will perform production assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, subassemblies, and components. You will use a variety of hand tools, read and interpret technical drawings, and follow precise work instructions to ensure defect-free assemblies. - Education & Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED (technical education preferred).
- Must have a basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical assembly.
- Must be able to read and comprehend technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Must meet U.S. Person.
- Must be able to lift 10β35 lbs and perform physical movements such as standing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- You will have experience using digital multi-meters (DMMs) and torque tools.
- You will have proficiency in Excel and basic computer operations in a production environment.
- You will have experience with wiring, soldering, and electrical assembly work.
- You will have strong attention to detail and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Job Duties / Functions
- You will be performing simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and electrical systems.
- You will be identifying required parts, tools, and equipment for each task.
- You will be using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, ratchets, torque tools, and crimpers.
- You will be inspecting your own work to ensure quality and remove any Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
- You will be following work instructions, blueprints, and specifications with strict accuracy.
- You will be using a computer to read technical documents and record work progress.
- You will be adhering to all safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective gear.
