Job Description
The Inventory Management Support C is responsible for shipping, packing, receiving, and moving materials within the facility under minimal supervision to support operational requirements. This role prepares and maintains shipping documentation, tracks shipments, inspects incoming materials, verifies the accuracy of paperwork against purchase orders, and processes receipts within the ERP system. The position coordinates with internal departments and external freight services, performs material handling functions including palletizing and loading, ensures proper labeling and identification of materials, reports discrepancies, and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; or 2 years post-secondary Associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to perform the job successfully.
- Possess the experience and knowledge of Inventory Management, Cycle Counting, Shipping & Receiving, Palletizing, and Material Handling.
- A proficiency with hand tools.

- Ability to write reports and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using units of money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Package shipments internally per procedures or coordinate with an outside packing house.
- Interface with internal departments and external shipping services or freight companies to ensure timely shipments.
- Generate shippers and labels for shipment of hardware and materials, including finished products and detail parts.
- Perform visual inspection of incoming materials for physical damage.
- Analyze incoming paperwork for accuracy and receive materials into the ERP system when documentation is correct.
- Report discrepancies and place materials on hold as required.
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
- Open containers and load or unload materials onto pallets, trays, racks, or shelves by hand.
- Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent damage in transit.
- Move materials from storage or work sites to designated areas such as receiving inspection.
- Secure lifting attachments to materials and signal crane or hoisting operators as needed.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on containers.
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together.
- Lift heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist, operate industrial trucks or electric hoists, and maintain a clean work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
