Job Description

Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design. Coordinate with engineering groups to define the product environment, guide product design, and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle. Lead test plan development, support test execution, and analyze and report results to validate that systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies. Support in-service products by investigating failures and recommending improvements. Develop analytical processes and tools to enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. Work under minimal direction.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD plus 4 years of related work experience, Master’s plus 7 years of related work experience). ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
    • A minimum of 10 years of aerospace strength analysis experience.
    • Hyperworks experience.
    • Preferred Skills
    • Experience with NX.
    • Military aircraft experience.
    • Airframe or subsystems structural analysis.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Perform equipment installation strength analysis for F-15 new development and production.
    • Conduct structural analysis of trays, shelves, adapters, ECS ducts, and other secondary structures.
    • Develop and integrate structural requirements into system design.
    • Verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models, and simulations.
    • Lead test plan development, support test execution, and analyze and report results.
    • Document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.
    • Investigate in-service product failures and recommend improvements.
    • Develop analytical processes and tools to improve quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.\
