    • Role Summary
    • The Company is seeking an experienced Material Coordinator to support operations at the San Antonio, TX facility. The Material Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the production control area and ensuring that all required materials are managed, tracked, and delivered in alignment with established processes and procedures. This position supports material flow between departments, ensures accurate documentation, and helps maintain efficient production and shipping activities.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have
    • A High School Diploma or GED.
    • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with stockroom or crib procedures.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system.
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience managing aspects of Government property, including acquisition, receiving, identification, movement, disposition, contract closeout, subcontractor control, records, utilization, and physical inventory.
    • The ability to use warehouse equipment.
    • The ability to support rotating shifts.
    • The ability to work with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • The ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

    • You will have
    • The ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, part lists, and shipping or receiving documentation.
    • The ability to document and maintain material requisitions and picking instructions.
    • The ability to apply basic mathematics for counting, adding, subtracting, and performing inventory functions.
    • The ability to operate company vehicles, material-handling equipment, and various hand tools.
    • The ability to fabricate special containers for material shipment in accordance with the Company and customer requirements.
    • The ability to operate terminals, computers, barcode readers, cranes, hoists, forklifts, tow motors, and related equipment.
    • The ability to consolidate parts and assemble them into kits, including hazardous materials and tooling kits.
    • The ability to prepare parts for storage in compliance with procedures.
    • The ability to stock and issue parts, including hazardous materials and sealers.
    • The ability to perform rough cutting of materials such as tubing.
    • The ability to verify materials received and identify discrepancies.
    • The ability to maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will
    • Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
    • Review production schedules and determine material requirements or overdue items.
    • Requisition and track materials while establishing delivery sequences based on job order priorities and material availability.
    • Arrange in-plant transfers of materials to meet production timelines.
    • Examine delivered materials and verify accuracy against requirements.
    • Monitor and control material movement using manual and computerized systems.
    • Compile reports of material statuses, quantities, and locations.
    • Transport materials between departments using hand trucks or industrial vehicles.
    • Maintain perpetual production records and track materials throughout production.
    • Process, verify, route, store, deliver, and track supplies and materials per Company and customer requirements.
    • Perform tasks involving shipping, receiving, driving, and material handling equipment.
    • Operate terminals and computer systems to support ordering, inventory, and material tracking.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with quality and compliance requirements.
    • Review and analyze production scheduling requirements to ensure material availability.
    • Investigate and resolve material-related issues and discrepancies.
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Company, program, and operational requirements.
    • Physical Requirements
    • You will
    • Ascend and descend vertical ladders and work in confined spaces.
    • Lift loads of approximately 35 pounds.
    • Work on elevated platforms with exposure to noise.
    • Use personal protective equipment for the face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms.
    • Pass visual acuity and color-perception tests.
    • Read, write, and comprehend the English language.
    • Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials.
    • Obtain and maintain required training certifications.
    • Perform occasional finger manipulation for 1 to 3 hours.
    • Perform two-person lifts as necessary for items over 50 pounds.
    • Perform frequent overhead reaching for 3 to 6 hours.
    • Walk frequently on flat surfaces.
    • Stand frequently on flat or uneven surfaces.
    • Balance frequently on ladders, steps, or uneven surfaces.
    • Climb occasionally on ladders or stands between 3 and 12 feet.
    • Rotate head and neck, sit, crawl, squat, bend, stoop, lie down, and operate foot controls for extended periods.
    • Come into occasional contact with metals.
    • Work with frequent exposure to noise.
