• Role Summary
• In this role, you will perform complex avionics component-level fault isolation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting on sophisticated military electronic hardware. You will support test operations in a high-throughput environment, applying technical expertise rather than automated systems to ensure accuracy and rapid turnaround. You will work independently with minimal oversight while setting short-term priorities to meet changing customer demands, ensuring all tasks meet the organization’s standards for quality, documentation, and compliance.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have the ability to perform complex fault isolation on avionics equipment.
• Must have aerospace-quality soldering skills.
• Must have the ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other fault-isolation test equipment.
• Must have an understanding of electronics and avionics theory.
• Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite at the facility in NAS Lemoore, CA.

• Preferred Skills
• You will have depot-level F-18 avionics repair knowledge.

• Job Duties / Functions
• You will be planning, conducting, and documenting tests on avionics systems and subsystems.
• You will be investigating, analyzing, and resolving test problems and anomalies.
• You will be contributing to the development of original test plans and offering input to improve test processes and procedures.
• You will be planning preventive maintenance and ensuring the readiness and availability of test systems.
• You will be training and guiding entry-level personnel in routine test processes and equipment operation.
• You will be identifying and recommending new test equipment, processes, and methods.
• You will be performing work requiring extensive technical experience, judgment, and interpretation of requirements to meet specific test objectives.
• You will be developing new test methods and providing highly innovative improvements to existing test methods, procedures, processes, and equipment.
• You will be developing intermediate-level personnel through on-the-job training and guiding them through complex problem-solving.
