    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will support the planning, execution, and documentation of tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. You will design, fabricate, and assemble test systems and fixtures to meet program and customer requirements. You will participate in troubleshooting, system integration, and test support activities for flight simulation equipment and related technologies while ensuring reliable test performance and minimal downtime.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have an Associate degree and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Bachelor’s degree + 1 year related experience, or 5 years related work experience).
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards.
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in an engineering lab environment or comparable military experience.
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with flight simulation equipment.
    • You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining computer hardware.
    • You will have experience with Mil-Spec connector termination.
    • You will have experience with Mil-Spec fiber optic termination and splicing.
    • Job Duties/Functions
    • You will be installing and maintaining flight simulation equipment, including computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations, and rack-mounted components.
    • You will be planning, conducting, and documenting tests on products, systems, components, and manufacturing processes.
    • You will be designing, fabricating, and analyzing test systems, components, and methodologies to meet test requirements.
    • You will be coordinating test requirements and determining appropriate test methods and capabilities.
    • You will be conducting system test preparations, including integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown.
    • You will be troubleshooting and resolving laboratory and test-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
    • You will be coordinating laboratory activities, maintenance, and repairs to maintain operational readiness.
    • You will be coaching and training team members in test procedures and equipment handling.
