Systems Engineer

Job Description

Develops advanced processing systems and subsystems while supporting all aspects of hardware embedded systems engineering, including system design, requirements development and derivation, product integration, and verification. Designs, integrates, and tests hardware products that include software and firmware components. Develops processes and procedures to support integration and coordinate teams. Ensures technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work while meeting project cost and schedule commitments. Utilizes model based engineering and test automation to support the development of certifiable products to DO 178C and DO 254 standards.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree with 4 to 8 years of experience or Master of Science degree with 2 to 6 years of experience, based on the Rate Details Level 2 requirement
• Experience supporting hardware embedded systems engineering, including system design, requirements development and derivation, product integration, and verification
• Experience designing, integrating, and testing hardware products that include software and firmware components
• Ability to develop integration processes and procedures and coordinate teams
• Ability to ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work while meeting project cost and schedule commitments
• Experience supporting the development of certifiable products to DO 178C and DO 254 standards

• Preferred Skills
• 4 to 6 years of experience in integration, modeling or model making, requirements development, and user acceptance testing
