Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop and integrate real-time C/C++ embedded software using Linux on multi-core processors. Support software and firmware integration activities and apply agile development methodologies to software development using GitLab and Bitbucket.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ embedded real-time software development using Linux on multi-core processors.
• 5+ years of hands-on software and firmware integration experience.
• 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, using GitLab and Bitbucket.
• Active Secret clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Preferred Skills
• Working knowledge of the Yocto operating system.
• Familiarity with Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware programming.
