Job Description

Troubleshoot, repair, and install avionics systems on large commercial aircraft while following technical data, safety standards, and established procedures. Perform routine and non-routine electrical and avionics maintenance while ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with maintenance teams to return aircraft to service safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards.

    • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM & 2nd Shift: 3:48 PM – 12:18 AM
    • Tools Required
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • 5+ years of recent heavy commercial aircraft avionics-related maintenance experience
    • Own tools
    • Able to work from written and verbal instructions, technical manuals, job cards, and schematics
    • Proficient in reading and interpreting ATA codes, wiring schematics, analysis charts, and maintenance procedures
    • Working knowledge of proper bonding, grounding, wiring practices, and component identification procedures
    • Ability to properly use multi-meters, crimp tools, extraction tools, insertion tools, and related equipment
    • Experience maintaining records of work performed and completing required training documentation
    • Must be able to read, understand, and adhere to all applicable FARs and client policies
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • A&P License preferred, not required
    • Experience training or mentoring lower-level mechanics
    • Familiarity with inspection procedures and documentation processes
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Remove, clean, service, and replace aircraft components using specialized tooling and ground support equipment
    • Troubleshoot, remove, and replace various aircraft electrical and avionics systems
    • Follow oral and written instructions, including supervisor directives and technical manuals, to complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks efficiently
    • Provide guidance and training to lower-level technicians as required
    • Maintain, organize, and store all tools and equipment in serviceable condition
    • Adhere to safe maintenance practices and maintain a clean and orderly work area
    • Record all maintenance actions and personal work history on OJT forms for the Training Department
    • Successfully complete company-required training courses
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
