Job Description

Troubleshoot, repair, and install avionics systems on large commercial aircraft while following technical data, safety standards, and procedures. This role performs routine and non-routine electrical and avionics maintenance, ensures accurate documentation and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with maintenance teams to return aircraft to service safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

    • Candidates must be flexible to work either shift.1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM / 2nd Shift: 3:48 PM – 12:18 AM
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • A minimum of 2 years of recent heavy commercial aircraft avionics-related maintenance experience.
    • Must have your own tools.
    • Able to work from written and verbal instructions, technical manuals, job cards, and schematics.
    • Able to read and interpret ATA codes, wiring schematics, analysis charts, and maintenance procedures.
    • Able to follow proper bonding, grounding, wiring practices, and component identification procedures.
    • Ability to properly use multi-meters, crimp tools, extraction tools, insertion tools, and related equipment.
    • Ability to maintain records of work performed and complete required training documentation.
    • Must be able to read, understand, and adhere to all applicable FARs and client policies.
    • Preferred Skills
    • A&P License preferred, not required.
    • Experience training or mentoring lower-level mechanics.
    • Familiarity with inspection procedures and documentation processes.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Remove, clean, service, and replace aircraft components using specialized tooling and ground support equipment.
    • Troubleshoot, remove, and replace various aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
    • Follow oral and written instructions, including supervisor directives and technical manuals, to complete routine and non-routine maintenance tasks efficiently.
    • Provide guidance and training to lower-level technicians as required.
    • Maintain, organize, and store all tools and equipment in serviceable condition.
    • Adhere to safe maintenance practices and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
    • Record all maintenance actions and personal work history on OJT forms for the Training Department.
    • Successfully complete company-required training courses.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
