Job Description

Plans, conducts, and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. Coordinates test preparation and laboratory activities, conducts tests, analyzes data, documents results, and troubleshoots laboratory and test-related problems.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Education/experience typically acquired through an Associate degree and 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • 3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Electrical troubleshooting
    • Soldering
    • Connectors
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Successful completion of required training
    • Ability to support all shifts based on business needs
    • Ability to obtain Fall Protection Certification
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
    • Design, fabricate, build, and analyze test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies
    • Coordinate test requirements and determine test methods and capabilities
    • Prepare systems for testing by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and teardown
    • Conduct tests and analyze data
    • Document test results and participate in test readiness reviews
    • Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related problems
    • Coordinate test laboratory activities, maintenance, and repairs
    • Coach and train others
    • Attend and pass required training classes
    • Maintain regular and predictable attendance
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Stand, kneel, lean over, or lie down for prolonged periods of time
    • Handle tools and small parts
    • Climb onto the aircraft approximately 8 feet off the ground
    • Work at heights using a step ladder or fall protection restraint system
    • Utilize required fall protection equipment
    • Work in accordance with Fall Protection Regulations - OSHA 1926, 1910.66, and 1910 Subpart D
