Job Description

Facilitate the acquisition of authorized commodities using procurement systems and processes to support manufacturing and process requirements. Coordinate inventory, tools, materials, and shop supplies while reviewing delivery and receiving status, analyzing products for compliance, and supporting emergent manufacturing requirements.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent and typically 3+ years of related work experience or relevant military experience
• 1+ years of experience with Inventory Control
• 1+ years of experience with Material Management
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• 1+ years of experience with Inventory Control Systems
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request

• Preferred Skills
• 1+ years of experience with Ariba and CribMaster
• 1+ years of experience implementing continuous improvement
• 1+ years of experience and knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines
• 1+ years of data analytics experience using Excel formulas and functions
• Advanced degree, such as an Associate's or Bachelor's degree

• Job Duties & Functions
• Satisfy manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, tools, and shop supplies.
• Analyze products to ensure compliance with process requirements.
• Identify and recommend appropriate solutions to meet manufacturing and process requirements.
• Facilitate acquisition of authorized commodities to meet requirements.
• Review inventory stock usage to ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Support manufacturing requirements for non-production materials, portable tools, perishable tools, and shop supplies by utilizing inventory management systems and processes.
• Evaluate products using industry specifications, procedures, engineering product definition, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with process requirements.
• Assist with analysis and research of new technology.
• Investigate changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests.
• Coordinate evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications.
• Perform inventory activities and coordinate redistribution of materials.
• Work under general supervision.

• Physical Requirements & Environment
• Lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
• Walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs throughout the shift.
• Bend and lift items as required.
• Package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift.
• Work 100% onsite in Portland, OR.
• Relocate to Portland, OR at own expense if applicable.
• Work limited overtime as required.
