Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Analyze and optimize CCA and module manufacturing processes with a focus on thru-hole technology to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Support process development, implementation, documentation, equipment maintenance and repair, and technical guidance while collaborating with production, quality, maintenance, and other cross-functional teams.

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Job Duties & Functions
• Analyze CCA and module manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
• Optimize manufacturing processes across CCA and module operations with a focus on thru-hole technology
• Identify process improvements across multiple CCA programs
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Develop design specifications for fixtures and stencils
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to implement process changes
• Work closely with senior engineers to gain experience and learn manufacturing processes
• Conduct experiments and trials to validate process improvements
• Evaluate compatibility of process improvements with existing equipment and systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to production staff
• Train and mentor production staff as needed
• Perform equipment maintenance and repair activities
