Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs to support quality standards and customer expectations. Lead product failure investigations and material review board decisions while developing quality improvement strategies for internal and supplier performance. Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, including statistical analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• 3+ years of experience interpreting drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspection and testing of manufactured products
• 3+ years of experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action planning
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration

• Preferred Skills
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certifications
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and controls
• Experience performing First Article Inspections IAW AS9102
• Experience with automated processes and robotic technologies
• Knowledge and/or experience working to the requirements of industry-recognized Quality Systems such as International (ISO) and Aerospace (AS) regulations
