Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Perform requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of embedded real-time C++ software and Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software for missile programs. Support software engineering activities in an onsite, full-time environment.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and typically 11+ years of work-related experience
• Proficiency in real-time embedded C++ programming
• Hands-on experience with Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software
• Device driver software experience
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and GitLab

• Perform requirements analysis for embedded real-time software supporting missile programs
• Design embedded real-time C++ software and Data Distribution Service (DDS) middleware software
• Develop software functionality according to established requirements
• Implement embedded software solutions for missile program applications
• Test software functionality and performance
• Integrate embedded software within missile program systems
• Maintain embedded real-time C++ software and DDS middleware software
