Job Description

Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle while meeting industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards. Analyze customer requirements, develop software architectures and designs, support systems integration, resolve software issues, and execute software research and development activities from an onsite location in Oklahoma City, OK.

• Education & Job RequirementsEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education froman accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's) and typically 9+ years of work-related experiencerelated work experience
• 4+ years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
• 4+ years of experience in C, C++, C

• , Python, Java, or Ada
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience programming in Ada
• Agile/SAFe development experience
• Proficiency with ARINC 429 data bus protocol
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Git Bash, Jira, and Artifactory
• Working knowledge of Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with stakeholders of different backgrounds and skill levels
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in a team environment

• Job Duties & Functions
• Design non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end software lifecycle
• Develop software products and functionalities supporting systems integrations
• Review and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs
• Maintain and enhance software products, architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
• Document software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
• Debug and resolve software issues to support product reliability and efficiency
• Handle user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues
• Analyze user feedback to support software improvements
• Implement current and emerging software technologies, tools, and frameworks
• Establish and monitor software processes, tools, and key performance metrics
• Improve software processes and tools in alignment with project goals and industry benchmarks
• Execute software research and development projects
• Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
• Perform software project management activities
• Manage software supplier activities and performance
• Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards
