Test Technician

Job Description

Perform assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic and mechanical assemblies while working from engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, technical documents, and formal direction. Operate hand tools, handheld power tools, and stationary power equipment, including drill presses, bandsaws, chop saws, and hydraulic presses, while maintaining safe work practices.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
• Experience operating non-automated stand-alone equipment, including drill press, bandsaw, chop saw, and hydraulic press
• Experience with hand tools to assemble and repair machinery
• Experience with handheld power tools
• Experience safely using stationary power tools
• Technical skills and abilities to work in a team environment with minimal supervision or direction

• Preferred Skills
• Prior experience associated with aviation hydraulics and mechanical assemblies
• Prior experience associated with large industrial hydraulic power supplies and distribution systems
• Experience with fabricating hydraulic pipes and hoses
• Experience associated with power trains and rotor systems
• Experience with precision measurement equipment
• Experience reading and working to engineering documents

• Maintain a safe working environment while performing duties around hazardous conditions
• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision or direction
