Electrical Design & Analysis Engineer 3

Job Description

Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop architectural approaches and detailed specifications for electronic products. Develops designs consistent with requirements and specifications and validates them through review, testing, and analysis. Provides engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, including technical performance tracking, supplier management support, and investigation of emerging technologies for future product designs.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry and 5+ years of related work experience
• Equivalent combination of technical education and experience, such as a PhD or Master's degree with 3 years of related work experience
• 2+ years of experience with System Verilog
• 2+ years of experience with UVM (universal verification methodology)
• Demonstrated strong digital hardware fundamentals
• Sound engineering judgment
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Proficiency in clear and proactive communication
• Experience producing high-quality technical documentation
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Job Duties & Functions
• Analyze customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for electronic products
• Develop high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications
• Validate designs through review, testing, and analysis
• Identify, track, and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements
• Support Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope
• Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle
• Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs that meet projected requirements
