Quoting Specialist

Job Description

The Quoting Specialist prepares detailed pricing packages from RFPs, RFQs, and client inquiries for helicopter operations or maintenance. Responsibilities include analyzing labor, parts, engineering, and vendor costs while coordinating with maintenance, engineering, and sales teams to support technically accurate quotes and maintaining compliance with applicable FAA guidelines.

• Education & Job Requirements
• 1 to 3 years of experience in aviation operations, rotorcraft maintenance, or aerospace quoting
• Familiarity with helicopter systems, parts pricing, and FAR regulations
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database management, and analytical cost breakdown
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Job Duties & Functions
• Review requests for proposals, requests for quotations, and client inquiries to build detailed pricing packages
• Calculate labor hours, parts procurement, engineering fees, and vendor services required for helicopter operations or maintenance
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and sales teams to ensure bids are technically accurate and competitive
• Ensure quotes align with aviation regulations, including FAA guidelines
• Maintain accurate quoting records in the company database
• Liaise with external clients and internal departments regarding quoting activities
