Job Description
Perform circuit design and schematic development for sophisticated avionics products within an Integrated Product Development environment. Support PCB layout, electrical analysis, test anomaly resolution, product certification activities, and system-level testing. Analyze and troubleshoot electronic hardware while supporting technical evaluation of designs and requirements verification.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- 3+ years of professional experience
- 4 - 6 years of experience with Failure Analysis
- 4 - 6 years of experience with Schematic Development
- 4 - 6 years of experience with Systems Analysis & Design Skills
- Technical evaluation experience supporting design and requirements verification
- Exposure to different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle
- Analog circuit design experience at the card/board level schematic and analysis
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- 2 - 4 years of experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- 2 - 4 years of experience with Circuit Failure Mode Analysis
- 2 - 4 years of experience with Simulation
- Proficiency in Analog Circuit Design, Motor Controls, Control Theory, and Avionics Electronics Design
- Background combining design, test, operations, and systems engineering disciplines
- Schematic capture experience using Xpedition or similar tools
- Working knowledge of PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tools
- Electronics analysis experience involving Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, and Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis
- Failure investigation experience on electronic hardware at the CCA, Unit, and System levels
- Missile design experience or Electronics Design for Space
- Demonstrated good communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Adaptability to new situations and self-initiative in solving complex problems
- Capacity to work effectively in a diverse team environment

- Design and capture electrical schematics and guide PCB board layouts
- Perform electrical worst-case analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis
- Resolve test anomalies and troubleshoot electronic hardware
- Generate, review, and present Product Certification
