Job Description

Lead the technical execution of planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to resolve manufacturing problems and guide development of the next generation of Product Lifecycle Manufacturing (PLM) systems. Act as the technical authority for complex business processes across the value stream, transforming Aero Operations strategic objectives into business requirements that define process elements of the product digital thread for manufacturing. Coordinate with supply chain management, IT, Quality, E&T, Sustainment, and the Digital Transformation Office to support integration and alignment across functions.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree with 16+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 14+ years of experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive effective solutions in fast-paced implementation environments
• Working knowledge of designing systems and architecture and their manufacturing applications
• Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Execution System (MES), including related integrations between these systems
• 8+ years of experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
• 8+ years of experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• 15 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing systems and business processes
• 10 years of combined experience in Production Scheduling, Complex Assembly Bills of Material, Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes
• Strong interpersonal skills with operations technical concepts and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing systems, business processes, and/or methods with the ability to apply that knowledge in developing a digital manufacturing system
• Able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Proficiency with PLM manufacturing applications such as Teamcenter and/or 3DX
• Familiarity with ERP manufacturing applications such as OneAero, ERP4C, and/or S4/HANA
• Demonstrated experience with Production Scheduling, Complex Assembly Bills of Material, Process Plan, Condition of Supply, Tooling, Configuration Management, and/or Workflow processes
• Cross-functional experience within the product digital thread
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that support the business
• Experience partnering with IT teams

• Lead technical execution for the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Resolve manufacturing problems through the development and integration of manufacturing technology solutions.
• Guide development of the next generation of Product Lifecycle Manufacturing (PLM) systems.
• Act as the technical authority for complex business processes across the value stream.
• Transform Aero Operations strategic objectives into business requirements defining process elements of the product digital thread for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with supply chain management, IT, Quality, E&T, Sustainment, and the Digital Transformation Office to coordinate manufacturing digital-thread activities with other functions.
• Apply systems and architecture knowledge to manufacturing applications and process development.
• Support the integration of PLM, ERP, and MES environments and the related interfaces between these systems.
• Utilize aerospace manufacturing systems, business processes, and methods to develop digital manufacturing system solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to determine effective solutions for business needs.
• Partner with IT teams to support manufacturing system development and implementation.
