Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Perform mechanical design, analysis, verification, and production support for mechanical structures, enclosures, and electronic modules across multiple programs. Support detailed design and assembly strategies while coordinating with Systems, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, Operations, and other cross-functional teams throughout development, integration, testing, and requirements verification.

• Education & Job Requirements
• 6+ years of experience with CREO for mechanical modeling
• 3+ years of experience using Ansys for thermal and structural analysis
• Must have extensive experience exceeding 10+ years to qualify for the top tier of the rate range
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Job Duties & Functions
• Design and analyze mechanical structures, enclosures, and electronic modules for multiple programs.
• Perform verification and production support activities for mechanical designs.
• Interface with Systems, Electrical Engineers, Drafting, and Operations personnel during detailed design and assembly strategy development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on design, development, integration, testing, and requirements verification.
• Support technical data packages and design reviews.
• Engage with suppliers in support of mechanical engineering activities.
• Support laboratory and test facility activities.
