Job Description

Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on piston and turbo-prop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements, and manufacturer guidelines. Lead maintenance teams, maintain accurate records, coordinate with engineering and quality personnel, and support technician development.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Valid A&P License
    • 3-5+ years of recent hands-on experience maintaining General Aviation turbo-prop and/or piston aircraft
    • Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines related to aircraft maintenance
    • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical and avionics systems
    • Own and maintain a well-equipped toolbox adequate for aircraft maintenance
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • Piper PA-46 series, including M350, M500, M600, and M700
    • Daher Kodiak, including Kodiak 100 and Kodiak 900
    • Daher TBM, including TBM 700, 850, 900, 910, 930, 940, 960, and 980
    • Lycoming engines
    • Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines
    • Sheet metal
    • Inspection Authorization
    • FAA Part 145 Repair Station
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on piston and turbo-prop aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements, and manufacturer guidelines
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues to ensure timely and accurate problem resolution
    • Oversee and lead maintenance teams executing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards
    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and component replacements
    • Collaborate with engineers, quality control personnel, and other aviation professionals to uphold aircraft maintenance standards
    • Stay current with advancements in aviation technology, regulations, and safety procedures
    • Train and mentor junior technicians to enhance their aircraft maintenance skills and knowledge
