Job Description
NH&S (Nuclear Hardness & Survivability) engineering supports technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition across total system products and their lifecycle. The work converts customer or product requirements into total systems solutions while accounting for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
- Experience with nuclear hardened aircraft designs and/or methodologies
- 5+ years of recent experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), 3DEXPERIENCE (Cameo) and HEMP Modeling & Simulation
- 5+ years of recent experience with applicable FAA Airworthiness (AW) compliance standards in conjunction with relevant military specifications and guidelines
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Analyze total system products at the concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal levels
- Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies
- Allocate requirements and define system interfaces to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Lead teams conducting analysis, evaluation, and validation of components, equipment, subsystems, or weapon-system models for compliance with operationally relevant nuclear threat environments
