Job Description

Assists with disassembly of system components to support correction of failures or implementation of changes. Supports basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, validation and verification testing, aerospace product fabrication and modification, and tasks associated with safe handling of aerospace vehicles.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience working with tools and following work instructions
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
• 1+ years of experience soldering and assembling equipment components
• 1+ years of experience using handheld tools and/or power tools
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications
• 1+ years of experience working under a microscope

• Job Duties & Functions
• Assist with disassembly of system components
• Support basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Repair faulty components
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components
• Fabricate aerospace products according to specifications
• Modify aerospace products according to specifications
• Assist with tasks associated with the safe handling of aerospace vehicles, including jacking, towing, and system operations
• Work under supervision

• Physical Requirements & Environment
• Work 100% onsite
• Work a 1st shift training period before moving to 2nd or 3rd shift
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed
