Job Description
Develops, maintains, and releases electrical and mechanical drawings, system designs, engineering documentation, and technical data while applying applicable industry and governmental standards. Prepares documentation using design tools, incorporates design changes, supports system design validation, and develops product installation and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex.

- Education & Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with designing the fabrication of wire harnesses and cables
- 3+ years of experience using power measurement and test and measurement instrumentation, such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers
- 3+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting utilizing volt-ohm meters and electrical system drawings
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses, electrical components, and associated equipment
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GOLDesp, including work orders and fabrication orders
- Associate degree or higher
- Job Duties & Functions
- Develops, maintains, and releases electrical and mechanical drawings, systems designs, engineering documentation, and data by applying applicable standards
- Prepares documentation using design tools and incorporates design changes
- Creates and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs, and assisting with design discrepancy identification
- Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities
- Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex
- Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers
- Plans, conducts, and documents product tests
- Locates source data from applicable files and systems
- Performs analysis using preset packages or original source data
- Executes assigned production roles
- Follows desktop procedures, publication standards, and government or customer specifications for authoring
- Programs documents for multiple SGML outputs when required by applying applicability rules within the text structure
- Determines proper effectivity and applicability for each authoring job
- Verifies information and checks for discrepancies
- Marks up illustrations and submits them using established procedures
- Conducts thorough self-checks of authored material
- Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope
- Creates system theory descriptions of operations of limited scope and complexity by analyzing product designs and engineering principles
- Develops maintenance, repair, and retrofit procedures and techniques of limited scope and complexity
- Utilizes engineering data, maintenance operational knowledge, and pertinent regulations to support product reliability, safety, and efficiency
- Designs, fabricates, builds, and analyzes test systems, components, materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies
- Works under general direction
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
- Works 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Works second shift from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with some flexibility around the start time
- Overtime is available and as needed
- Works straight 8-hour days rather than a 9x80 schedule
