Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Review machining processes and work closely with shop floor machinists to identify waste and streamline processing steps. Spend the majority of the workday on the production floor understanding and resolving complex manufacturing issues while communicating across production operations, quality, NC programming, and other disciplines.

• Education & Job Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline
• Machined part manufacturing experience
• Experience running cost reduction or efficiency projects with tangible results
• Strong communication skills and comfort working on the production floor
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with Mazak NC machines
• Root Cause / Corrective Action analysis experience
• Experience using statistical process control in manufacturing
