Support the technical development and production of advanced thin-film technology solutions through expertise in thin-film coatings, sputtering, evaporation, optical thin-film products, design tools, analytical methods, and metrology. Serve as a technical contact for multiple projects while supporting engineering and manufacturing teams.

- Education & Job Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in advanced thin film coatings
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
- Strong collaborative skills in a dynamic technology environment
- Experience running the technical development and production of advanced thin film-based technology solutions
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Previous leadership experience
- Job Duties & Functions
- Support sputtering and evaporation designs and processes to produce optical thin-film based products
- Mentor and train entry-level engineers and manufacturing technicians
- Act as the primary technical contact to internal Program Managers for multiple projects
- Apply one or more thin film design tools such as TFCalc, OptiLayer, FilmStar, and FilmWizard
- Utilize advanced analytical and metrology tools
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all levels within the organization
- Drive disciplined, fact-based, and data-driven decisions while executing with discipline and urgency
