Job Description
Translate complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and improve manufacturing processes through advanced technologies. Create work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists while supporting automation, process improvement, root cause corrective action, and Lean Six Sigma projects.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering, or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience writing technical work instructions
- 3+ years of experience with composites fabrication and/or optical assemblies
- 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing floor environment
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Preferred Skills
- Able to work in a cross-functional, teaming environment
- Detailed knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with SAP
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing concepts and techniques
- Experience with CREO/ProE with a focus on tool design
- Job Duties & Functions
- Create comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists
- Implement automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency
- Lead root cause corrective action and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects
- Develop process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery
