FPGA Design/Verification Engineer

Job Description

Support FPGA and ASIC design and verification activities across architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration, and testing within a Linux environment.

• Education & Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 9+ years of experience work-related experience
• Experience in the verification of FPGA and/or ASIC devices
• HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
• Experience with modern verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM, or VMM
• ASIC/FPGA life cycle, including architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration, and testing experience
• Hands-on experience in scripting such as Perl, TCL, or Python
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

• Preferred Skills
• FPGA/ASIC design experience
• Candidates located in the Sunnyvale, CA; Houston, TX; or Denver, CO areas
• Willingness to work remotely

• Job Duties & Functions
• Support FPGA and ASIC verification activities
• Apply HDL programming using VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
• Utilize modern verification methodologies such as UVM, OVM, or VMM
• Contribute to ASIC/FPGA life cycle activities including architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration, and test
• Develop scripts using Perl, TCL, or Python
• Work within a Linux environment
