Job Description

Perform software design, development, testing, and integration activities supporting the B-52 platform and associated military systems. Support software requirements, architecture, interfaces, testing, peer reviews, and Agile development activities.

    • 1st Shift, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM; flexible earlier or later with full 8-hour workdays
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
    • 5+ years of experience with Ada
    • Experience with embedded real-time software development and with Agile development practices
    • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
    • Preferred Skills
    • Previous technical experience in an aerospace environment
    • Proficiency in design and implementation of multi-threaded real-time applications
    • Self-motivated problem solver capable of taking initiative with minimal instruction
    • Able to problem-solve in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong communication skills
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Design, develop, and test software components and functions
    • Support development of software functional requirements
    • Contribute to software architecture trades and revise existing architecture to meet new functions
    • Specify internal and external software interfaces
    • Conduct software test-driven development
    • Participate in peer reviews on software life cycle data
    • Contribute to the success of an Agile development team
    • Support sprint planning and meet sprint commitments
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Work in a hybrid environment with onsite work in Oklahoma City as needed
    • Local candidates work onsite in Oklahoma City
    • Non-local candidates travel to Oklahoma City once or twice per month or every other month for several days as needed
    • Candidates must be comfortable working onsite or traveling to work onsite
    • Initial onsite training may be required for approximately one week
    • Troubleshooting may involve a high-fidelity laboratory environment with aircraft hardware
